Sustainability

This past September, I picked up the book Gorgeously Green by Sophie Uliano (website found here) and while it was a tad superficial or frivolous in some ways (she recommends a lot of expensive products and they are indeed luxuries, not necessities), I'm thankful I read it, as it re-awakened the little environmentalist in me.

Since September, I've given up using all conventional hair products and skincare, and traded them in for DIY or all-natural (or both) methods. I also try to utilize natural and homemade methods of cleaning and taking care of things. The steps I've made thus far are small ones, but I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I'd like to use this blog to document things I try and learn along the way!
